Bug ID: 92232
Summary: [UI] [EDITING] Unable to leave Zoom Mode
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
When clicking the magnifier, my cursor becomes a magnifying glass. Then when I
want to switch back to Normal/Selection/Edit Mode, There is no button for that.
I see the 'Edit Mode' item in the Edit menu, but clicking it has no impact, my
cursor keeps being a magnifier and clicking anywhere on a slide results in a
zoom.
I have right clicked the magnifier and saw there are options to show more
buttons on the toolbar, but none of those buttons take me back to the normal
mode.
I have searched the (Writer) Help online and it told me there should be a
'Selection Mode' item in the Edit menu, but there isn't. The only thing like it
is the 'Edit Mode' item that I already tried several times, but to no avail.
After further searching, I found the shortcut key for edit mode in (Impress)
Help online, which, indeed got into edit mode and gave me a whole new edit
toolbar.
It would be nice if, besides this shortcut key, there would also be a button or
a menu item that could take the user back to either normal or edit mode.
