Bug ID: 92387
Summary: Creating animation sets unwanted border and background
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.4.2 rc
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Hi,
LibreOffice Impress shows unexpected behavior when creating an animation as a
group object from a series of images. A border is added and the border and
background are set to bluish colors.
This behavior is not only unexpected (although shown in the preview), but also
completely different from the behavior observed when creating the anitmation as
a bitmap object. As a bitmap object, transparency is preserved and no border is
added. However, this is not always a feasible solution as the quality is
severely impeded.
Steps to reproduce (please be aware that I am using LO in German and thus I
cannot reliably give all the names of every button to press)
1) Insert at least two images with trasparency
2) Open the animation dialog (see
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17406199/bugtmp/Bug17_1.png )
3) Select the images and click the button to add all images individually
4) Create it as a group object. You will see that a background and a border has
been added
5) Create it as a bitmap object. You will see that transparency of the
background is preserved and no border is added
Current behavior:
a) A background color and a border is added
b) Bitmap and group object animations look and behave differently.
The current behavior is shown in
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17406199/bugtmp/Bug17_2.png
And odp showing the problem can be found at
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17406199/bugtmp/Bug17.odp
Expected behavior:
a) Do not add background color and border (the user can do this manually if
desired). OR: Add color field to choose if and what background/border color
should be added.
b) Bitmap and group object animations should look similar.
Again, thanks a lot for all your efforts.
