The reason turned out to be over 100 linked images. It was also in web layout so maybe there were problems with that in earlier versions (?). I typed something and saved it with no problems. Windows Vista 64 Version: 4.4.4.3 Build ID: 2c39ebcf046445232b798108aa8a7e7d89552ea8 In 4.1.6.2, when saving it froze for a minute and there was network activity suggesting that the links were being updated.
