--- Comment #21 from Laurent BP <jumbo4...@yahoo.fr> --- (In reply to Aprax from comment #20) > Then in your scenario, same spreadsheet, > 1) Select Column C Please follow procedure I described: make NO selection. Calc will guess where are the data to sort. If you do not want that Calc try to guess, then you can make a selection of what you want to sort. In your procedure, you make a selection that do not correspond exactly to the data you want to sort. So avoid those useless steps. With your procedure, making a selection give wrong information to Calc. > My complaint is that, in my scenario, I now have to click on the Options Tab > and then tick the "Range contains column labels" before clicking the [OK] > button. > This current behavior is new with V4. > Whereas before, in V3, the steps were: > 1) Select the primary column (click the column letter) > 2) click the upper left corner to select all columns and rows > 3) Use Data | Sort to open the Sort controls, you see the correct Labels. > 4) Click on [OK] (because the 3 columns and "Range contains column labels" > were 'remembered'. With V4, skip steps 1) and 2) and all will be correct. :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
