--- Comment #1 from Peng Wang <[email protected]> 2012-04-14 14:32:39 PDT --- (In reply to comment #0) > It was indicated that this bug was fixed in Libreoffice 3.5 release note: > > http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:Non_printable.png > > But it works only when the text is in "align left" style. > > Under any circumstances it is inconsistent when spaces in the text are not > shown. I want to add that I understand the spaces at the end of line shouldn't be visible in print out. MS office's solution is to put those spaces beyond the text/page margin. Libreoffice should come up with a similar or better solution. The current behaviour is also anti-intuitive. Imagine that I type a word near the end of line, then I type a space but suddenly the cursor doesn't move. --- For a new comer he will - intuitively try to type space again but cursor still not move. Well in his first impression that the software is buggy. --- For me I have to tell myself - the last space I typed is really there and I didn't typed it multiple times and keep typing next word which will appear next line. I think that if this problem can be fixed, the office suite will feel much more polished. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
