Now update (F9) an the order of the Footnotes is: 1 Test4[1] 2 Test1[2] 3 Test2[3] 4 Test3[4] 5 Test5[5] Now delete the linebreaks, so you have the initial document an press already F9 - now you see: 1 Test4[1] 2 Test1[4] 3 Test2[3] 4 Test3[2] 5 Test5[5] Look only at the numbers in the brackets! They change!!! But the order of the footnotes was not changes. We have only add paragraphs between them! Hope you can comfire this.
