The "Keyboard" configuration tab in the "Customize" dialog window, in the
current version of LibreOffice, contains the "Shortcut keys" list, and the
three-partite "Functions" group.
When assigning key binding to a function I have always scrolled through the
shortcut keys list to find free binding, then selected function, and pressed
"Modify" button. It turns out that you can press the key combination you want
to assign when the focus is on the "Shortcut keys" list, and that would
automatically go to the combination you pressed. There is no information
anywhere that you can press a key combination to go to it, to appropriate line
in "Shortcut keys" - this information should be in a label, or at least in a
hint.
I propose adding a small text (a label) above the "Shortcut keys" list with for
example the following information: "Press key combination you want to change",
or something like that. Perhaps it should be grayed-out in 'inactive' style if
the mentioned list is not selected (doesn't have focus).
This small issue was discovered in bug 92686 comments.
