When I select text to be deleted using either the cursor or F8, the text will
be highlighted for approximately one to two seconds, then deselct. Often, I
cannot again select the text, using either the cursor or F8. The program
simply won't do anything with regard to selecting text until after I again type
some text.
The frustration is that I can take the same document, use Open Office rather
than Libre Office, and the editing works fine. I understand the programs are
almost identical. Perhaps a minor issue exists in Libre Office.
