For a reason unrelated, I reinstalled Libre Office 4 times and encountered the
same issue: I select, besides English, the following dictionaries: French,
Spanish, German. I make sure German is selected, but when I want to use it for
the text, it is not checked. In the extension manager, it is there. So I remove
it, install it from an .oxt file, and Libre Office still does not want to use
it. It takes me 2 or 3 tries before it finally accepts it. The extension in
question is 'dict-de_de-frami_2013-12-06'.
