Bruce Gilbert <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Priority|medium |high Hardware|x86-64 (AMD64) |x86 (IA32) Version|4.4.3.2 release |4.3.3.2 release Severity|normal |major --- Comment #3 from Bruce Gilbert <[email protected]> --- (see Comment 2 below) Whenever I do a spellcheck, from 'F7' key or from the icon, or from the menu, a box appears over the 'Spelling' window asking if it should start from the beginning of the document? If I click 'No' - the 'Spelling' window disappears; if I click 'Yes', the 'LibreOffice 4.3.3.2 box "The spellcheck is complete." ' message appears - as in the attachment, without checking any words! This is extremely annoying & must affect everyone who uses it? My spelling is not good & I need a working spellchecker. I got this version: 4.3.3.2 Build ID: 430m0(Build 2) as a default OFFICE item in Linux - Debian 8 (jessie)...but as I said - spellcheck has NEVER worked for me since Open office...same problem, every time I have changed computer hardware &/or Operating Systems - (I had the same problem when I used to use Windows XP). If there is a simple fix for this problem then it needs to be PROMINENTLY found in HELP! If not then you need to fix this fault quickly & permanently. I was writing an important letter to a friend of mine, when the spelling error came up. I SHOULD have just got up & searched the dictionary for the correct spelling....but this is like the 'final straw'. If this problem does not get fixed in a timely manner, then I will stop recommending others to use Libre Office. Thank you for your attention - Bruce Gilbert. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
