Bug #: 48804
Summary: Add option to rotate text 180 degrees in writer
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
While there are options to rotate text by 90 and 270 degrees. There is no
option to rotate by 180 degrees.
People need to design cards and brochures with horizontal folds all the time.
These documents will have at least one side which is inverted (180 degrees).
This should be easy for the user to do.
If someone already figured out how to get 90 and 270 to work, how much harder
could 180 be?
All sorts of software routinely gets things upside down backwards by accident.
How hard could it be to do it on purpose?
I know there is a workaround - inserting an ole drawing object with the text
rotated, but this is way less than obvious or simple and took me quite awhile
to figure out.
