Jean-Baptiste Faure <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC| |[email protected] Component|Writer |LibreOffice Hardware|Other |All Resolution|--- |NOTABUG OS|Windows (All) |All --- Comment #2 from Jean-Baptiste Faure <[email protected]> --- I strongly disagree, I see at least 2 issues if backup files are not discarded: 1/ privacy issue: what do you think if a copy of your discarded files is conserved without you know / remember that? 2/ spamming issue: not discarded backup files will fill your HD and make your LO user profile bigger each day and becoming harder to backup (Ok, I know, nobody make backups...). We already have 1/ and 2/ with backup files associated with files manually discarded by the user. I think we should not duplicate this hidden problems. I think it is the problem of the user to think before doing something irreversible. Closing as NotABug. Best regards. JBF -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
