Bug ID: 93391
Summary: Selected text disables in Table Data View
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.0.0.5 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
The problem occurs when in Table Data View or a grid on a form. It only
happens on columns containing numeric data. Text columns are not affected.
When viewing a table (or a grid), select any cell in a numeric column. The
data is highlighted (selected).
Using arrow up or down key, the data continues to become selected.
Use the arrow left or right key so data is no longer selected. When you arrow
up/down to a different row, none of the cells have selected (highlighted) data.
Arrow down to a new record and all cells for that column return to showing
selected data.
Until the new record cell for that particular column is selected (or
oForm.Reload() performed in macro) the problem remains.
I also saw this same problem in v4.4.5.2 and in v4.2.8.x
This greatly increases keystrokes when entering new data in a grid or table
column. You must delete the old data before entering the new.
