This PC is connected to a standard 4 port ethernet broadband modem with another PC running Mint Linux, used now and again and a high speed laser all wired. As far as I was aware I was using the basic Windows 7 works network, home network would not connect, so as to connect to a Linux PC and have shared some data directories, not D: I will have to look up what you are saying and try and correct it- I have a suspicion that the latest Windows 7 Upgrade was not good, a couple of pieces of software do not work as they used to before the upgrade. I normally do not do upgrades as I find that they add more problems than they fix but it got the better of my judgement.
