Bug ID: 93749
Summary: New password protected library lose code after reload
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.0.1.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: BASIC
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
step to reproduce
1. File> New> Text document
2. Tools> Macros> Organize> LibO Basic, click Organizer, tab Libraries,
location:Untitled 1, click New, name Library1, Ok
3. tab Modules, select Library 1, Module 1 and click edit
4. do nothing, save the document as bar.odt
5. close all (document and macro ide)
6. open bar.odt
7. Tools> Macros> Organize> LibO Basic, click Organizer, tab Libraries,
location:bar.odt
8. Select Library 1, click password, provide one
9. Select Library 1 click edit
10. in module 1, sub main, add any string, say --> print "test"
11. save document inside basic IDE
12. close all (document and macro ide)
13. open bar.odt
14. Tools> Macros> Organize> LibO Basic, click Organizer, tab Modules
15. select bar.ods, Library 1 , Module 1
--> password is not requested (Library not password protected)
--> the string you add in step 10 has vanished
The Module and code are not there (dataloss)
maybe related to bug 68983
Doing the other way, create module and code before setting the library password
protected and save --> it is ok
simplifying the use case, no problem see bug 93742
(add code just after creating the library without step 4 intermediate saving)
