LibreOffice has easy assignable Shortcuts. Just do it yourself:
1) open Writer, Calc or Draw,
2) Tools > Customize > Keyboard
3) up right select LibreOffice radiobutton (so the scope is all apps)
4) under Shortcut Keys select Ctrl+Shift+P (or your preferred Combo)
5) under Category choose "Insert"
6) under Function select "From File"
7) Click Modify button
8) Click OK

Attention, in 3.5.3 there seems to be a bug: After assignign the key, you must
leave the application and open a different (so if you did this in Writer, just
open Draw once and test your Combo there, thereafter you can open Writer again
and the Combo will work here too.

This way you can assign shortcuts to many commands, but not to all.
