When copy/paste from inkscape (0.48.5) to impress, the new object is created as
raster.
If "paste special", the choice is given between "Unformatted text" and
"bitmap".
By chosing "Unformatted text" one can verify that exported data is indeed svg.
When saved to a .svg file and dropped to Impress, the vectorial image is
imported instead.
