Reading your chart styles document, I have more the feeling that LibreOffice should not copy what MS Office did with regard to chart styles. I think the solutions of statistical software are much more powerful (and leave out unuseful chart style options). Also, the idea that it is generally possible to script new chart styles and provide them to other users is great.
