I prepared a presentation using LibreOffice Impress (ver. 4.2.8.2) with 60 or
so slides containing both text and .jpg images. Centred text was not regularly
displayed; bullet points were replaced by small rectangles though other
typographic signs were correctly displayed. .JPGs which had not been resized
appear to display properly, but some which had been modified or cropped were
distorted.
Reloading the .pptx file in Impress does not resolve or correct the problems
