LibreOffice 5.0.1.2. crashes from time to time (Ubuntu 14.04 on Dell Latitude
3540: Invidia Graphic Card and 4 GB of RAM) from no obvious reason. The reason
could be the PPTX presentation I decided to open... but the next time I open
the same PPTX, everything is just fine. Or if I want to enable some toolbars,
LO crashes. But next time (mostly) everything is just fine... it happens from
time to time (once in two days, unexpected). However, most of my job can be
done but I am forcing autosave every 5 minutes (and this bug is making autosave
a bit unusable: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93574)
I tried to disable OpenCL, font replacement table I used, and I increased
memory to graphic cache. I will report if the situation is changed. Also, I
remove LO 4.4 config file and let Lo 5.0 to create a new one. This did improve
situation a bit, but still it happens.
Is there any log file I can obtain when such situation happens? I would like to
give you more details about this problem, but there is no obvious cause. So I
decided to report these unexpected crashes of LO starting from Lo 5.0 in case
some more users are affected.
