This feature has been sought for at least twice on AskLO.
Frankly I don't know how it works in M$ Office, I think it's automatic but can
be toggled in settings. Best would be global toggle and per-document toggle if
technically possible, and the global toggle can be set to
- always allow (document can disable)
- let document decide
- never allow
