Could you please try to run the application with default user configuration? * make sure that soffice.bin is not in task manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL) * rename "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\LibreOffice\3 (note that it is hidden directory) * run LO again It works for other people, so it happens only with some strange circumstances. We will do our best to help you.
