Under Windows 8 and with Libre Office 4452 I created an XY scattered diagram
(no lines). With that diagram double clicked for edition the upper menu says
"Trend lines" under "insert". So I asked for a strigth line and "Show
equation". But lo.. only the equation shows but not the line whichever format
I try.
As I need absolutely that trend line (to adjust a parameter in my specific
research) I went around this glitch by calculating its parameters a and b and
including the result y=a+bx in a new column of my diagram.
Any better solution?
