--- Comment #4 from Alex Thurgood <[email protected]> ---
@PHM : thanks, just goes to show, you learn something everyday ;-)

Unfortunately, I can not reproduce the crash on OSX 10.10.5 with

Version: 5.0.2.2
Build ID: 37b43f919e4de5eeaca9b9755ed688758a8251fe
LocaleĀ : fr-FR (fr.UTF-8)

Your version is 10.0.0.5, please try with the most recent production release
and report back.

To summarise what I did :
1) Create new Calc sheet.
2) In Tab 1, I used RAND WITH LIMITS function, with limits of 1 to 1000 to
create a grid of values 8 columns wide by 27 rows deep.
3) I then selected the sheet and copied the whole sheet to a new Tab, giving it
a new name (Tab2).
4) Then I opened the same Calc file in a second window, selected Tab2 from the
second window, selected a cell and dragged and dropped that cell onto any cell
in the first window of Tab1.
5) No crash, the cell function is copied and a random number generated.
