thanks for your quick response.

I have to apologize but I am not capable of doing it.

The steps I take are:
1. Select certain cell range
2. Select Format -> Conditional Formatting -> Manage
3. In the list of rules/styles I select the desired one -> Edit
4. Here is where I get stuck. I don't see how to change this existing style and
using the options to the right don't have any effect, I assume because they are
designed for regular cell formatting, not for changing the conditional
formatting parameters.
