It seems that we need some info and more facts from your message. At this point, I think you're talking about the possibility to print in greyscale mode if you want to see pseudo-colored content. Not depending on OS, you should contact your printer setting and turn off "Color" output mode to "High quality Grayscale" or something like that (in phrase).
