Hi Jacques,
I checked, and OpenSymbol is not installed.

I have a laptop with an Ubuntu system, and the LibreOffice there displays the
equations well. I checked, and the OpenSymbol font is installed on that
machine.

Maybe the installation program for the LibreOffice 4.4.5.2 Hungarian
distribution did not contain this font?

I uninstall LibreOffice from my Windows machine right now, and download it from
the Hungarian project page again:
http://hu.libreoffice.org/letoeltes/?type=win-x86&version=4.4.5&lang=hu

The exact download location is:
http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.4.5/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.4.5_Win_x86.msi

After installation, the program information is:
version: 4.4.5.2
build id: a22f674fd25a3b6f45bdebf25400ed2adff0ff99
locale: hu_HU

So identical with the removed one. If I check for updates, it says, that it is
the most recent version.

Now I open the Math equation editor, and I see perfectly formatted equations.

I go into C:\Windows\Fonts, and now the OpenSymbol (normal) font is installed.

I can't find out, why the OpenSymbol font wasn't installed during the previous
installation with the (theoretically) same installer?

Thanks for the hint, with best regards: tbenke
