does not display the characters be input.
Description: Follow up of bug 39080. "Hide whitespace" is working, but does not
display the characters be input on bottom line.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable View > Hide Whitespace
2. Move the cursor to the bottom line.
3. Push enter key.
4. Enter characters.
Actual behavior:
does not display the characters be input.
Expected behavior:
display the characters be input.
