Then tried to download an earlier version, even down to version 4.4.6, but it still won’t run now, even though I upgraded from version 5.005. I even used “AppCleaner” to completely uninstall the program, then try to re-install, but it still says it’s trying to run version 5.0.3.0, even after I downloaded and install version 4.4.6. There must be something left behind that I can’t get rid off and makes the system think it still has the latest faulty one. Do I have to go into the library and delete plist files etc.? I have found that not copying the file to 'Applications' but running it straight from the opened dmg file will run the program, however, as soon as I copy it to the Applications folder it fails. I have now deleted again with Appdelete, but this time I have re-started the computer and copied it manually into the Applications folder, rather than use the alias to copy.
