Bug ID: 95874
Summary: Crash EDITING: select multiple text boxes and
connectors, set area fill in properties sidebar
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.2.2 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Overview: Trying to set the area fill in the properties sidebar when one or
more text boxes and one or more other objects like arrows and connectors are
selected causes a crash. Performing the same operation from the Format menu,
Area... dialog works.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Create a new drawing
2) Create a text box and a line
3) Select all
4) In the "Area" section of the Properties sidebar, choose Fill: Color
Actual Results: LibreOffice Document Recovery appears with the message, "Due to
an unexpected error, LibreOffice crashed...."
Expected Results: The Fill dropdown should have been set to "Color" allowing
selection of a fill color for the applicable objects. Note that this operation
works correctly from the menus, i.e. Format -> Area... select Color in the Fill
dropdown.
Build Date & Hardware:
I first encountered this bug on an earlier build of version 5 on 32 bit Windows
7, upgrading to the current 5.0.3.2 did not help.
Additional Builds and Platforms:
This bug also occurs on Version 4.4.2.2 on 32 bit Ubuntu MATE 15.04, the only
other instance I had close at hand. It goes to the "Sorry, Ubuntu 15.04 has
experienced an internal error" dialog with ExecutablePath
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin, Package libreoffice-cor
1:4.4.2-0ubuntu1, ProblemType Crash.
