When trying to create a reproducible case of the desktop freese that happens to
me, I copy and pasted crunch of 200 pages of random test with repeated ^V.
At some time writer stops responding and CPU keeps high forever.
Tested with Kubuntu 14.04 GNU/Linux, Xubuntu and Windows7-32.
Seems that disabling automatic spell cheker then the issue does not arises.
