I don't know what to tell you, in Italy I've never seen so indicated the
"small" hours: by writing both verbally we say "at 24 and 35" or "at midnight
and 35".
Certainly, would one give me an appointment by writing "at 12:35:15 m." I would
interpret as "noon" (not as "midnight").
Also, I have never seen to use the symbols "m." or "p.", usually I see "am" or
"pm" (lower or upper case).
Coming back to the calc function, personally, I'd prefer to see "00.35.15 m."
rather than "12.35.15 m.".
