Bug ID: 96212
Summary: unbrakable special character, especially unbreakable
long dash (U+2013) need
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
There is no way (or easy way) to type unbreakable special character. The
automatic correction to long dash is not functional for unbreakable long dash
(Typing SHIFT + CTRL + "-" twice and ENTER). Reason for my wish is that I need
to type expression like 10 km.h-1 on the one line. Typographic rules instruct
long dash in the expression. It'll be better to handle unbreakable signs by
manual handling too, but it have to be intuitive eg. select and set it
unbreakable.
