--- Comment #10 from Robinson Tryon (qubit) <qu...@runcibility.com> ---
TESTING with Version: 5.1.0.0.beta2 on Ubuntu 14.04

(In reply to Yousuf (Jay) Philips from comment #0)
> Steps:
> 1) open Writer
> 2) go into page dialog ( Format > Page )
> 3) click on area tab
> 4) select fill as color

Okay to this point

> 4.5) select a color
> 5) click on page tab and notice that the color is set in the preview

Considering steps 4.5 and 5 together:

If I click on 'Tango: Sky Blue 1' (which is already highlighted), and then
click back to the Page tab, the preview does not update.

If I click on a *different* color (e.g. Tango: Sky Blue 2), and then click back
to the Page tab, the preview *does* update and show a blue background on the
document.

> 6) click on area tab
> 7) select fill as none
> 8) click on page tab and notice that color is still set
> 9) click ok button
> 10) page color gets set

CONFIRMED: Page color turns blue

Interestingly, if I return to
* Format -> Page -> Area, the Fill dropdown is set to 'Color'
* Changing Fill to 'None', then
* Clicking on the Area tab shows a White (no bg color) preview
* Clicking 'OK' confirms that the blue bg is indeed gone

It appears that one can toggle the color between blue and white like this
repeatedly. We can even enable a different Fill by changing step (4) of the
initial repro steps to "select Fill as 'Hatching'".
