            Bug ID: 96410
Summary: WEBDAV: old version opened after simultaneous open
                    (read only)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Because lock files are not always deleted on webdav shares, I tried 5.1 beta2
(as #82744 is fixed).
However, if I open one file on two different computers and once the file is
locked (and I get the warning that the file is read-only, this computer keeps
showing the old version:

Setup:
Webdav server: eXo Platform 4.2, default configuration regarding webdav
Webdav Clients: both have the KB907306 installed and the webdav share is
mounted via the "map network drive"
Client 1: Windows 7 32bit, Libreoffice 5.1 beta2 32bit
Client 2: Windows 7 64bit, Libreoffice 5.1 beta2 64bit

Behaviour:
1) Client 1: open and edit document, saves, closes (lock file disappears)
2) Client 2: open, see version after step 1, edits + saves (not close!)
3) Client 1: open, see read only warning, open read only, see version after
step 1, close
4) Client 2: close of document
5) Client 1: open, see version after step 1 (wrong version)
6) open the same file with MS Office 2010: see version after step 2 (correct
version)
7) view the file in the eXo platform (with document preview): see version after
step 2 (correct version)
8) unmount and mount the webdav share again: Client 1 with libreoffice shows
still the wrong version

Expected behaviour:
ad 5) see version after step 2 (as MS Office and eXo Platform)

This behaviour makes it very easy to overwrite changes by Client 1 if client 2
has made while the file was (accidentally) opened by Client 1 read-only.

If a file is never opened read-only, a continous workflow between 2 clients
shows the correct version.
