There are a number of steps involved before the new version of the application can be used. What would you call it? I am familiar with the process you describe. LO 5.0.3 does not do this on OSX10.10.5. The previous LO version loaded correctly (as you have described). This version (5.0.3) never completes the loading(unpacking), so I cannot drag the LO.app to the Application folder. Since you are using OSX 10.11.2 that is not the same version as my OS, so this is not helpful.Try reproducing the install on OSX 10.10.5. UPDATE..... I have installed OSX 10.11.2 on my Computer. Libre Office 5.0.3 STILL does not complete the installation process. After selecting the DMG file from Finder a window opens, the bar at the bottom shows it is installing, then the spinning beachball shows up and nothing more happens. Activity monitor shows that the application is "Not Responding".
