My wife was doing some Open University project work and was copying URL's from
Internet Explorer.
Most, but by no means, all of these copied in as links that could be followed
using ctrl+click. Some did not and just went in as text that couldn't be
followed.
I manually changed these by selecting the texted hyperlink then
Format/Character and picking the hyperlink tab (which had URL missing) and
added the URL manually.
Despite this the text didn't change to sky blue 6 underlined and had to do this
manually as well.
Why has this happened? My wife could have been penalised for this in her
assignment.
I thought I'd taken a screenshot of the failure but haven't. Can the hyperlink
be inserted with a less manual process?
