            Bug ID: 96722
           Summary: New Shape
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.0.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

This is not a bug but a suggestion. No 'possible duplicates' matched my
request.

I am simply suggesting that a new shape be added to the autoshapes group.

It is a disk that has two adjustment 'handles' that can be moved independently
around the entire circumference of the disk such that you can create anything
from a full disc, or have a thin 'slice' cut off, all the way down to most of
the disk cut off with only a small 'sliver', like a shallow 'bowl' type of
shape, left behind, and anything in between.

This drawing is the closest I could find that demonstrates what I am suggesting
is in this image:
http://www.indezine.com/products/powerpoint/learn/shapes/semicircleswithecho.html

Using that example drawing, both handles can be moved anywhere around the
circumference to allow for both the POSITION of the 'cut-off' as well as the
AMOUNT that is actually 'cut off'.

A couple of times I have found need for this shape, either stand alone or when
used in layers with other shapes to draw something.

I trust that is clear enough. If not, ask. :)
