There is already one template with a macro for sanitizing content: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Attachments#Confidential_Attachments Regarding the sample document, I don't have the slow down on opening or delay with navigation. Scrolling vigorously I notice 1 CPU core peaking occasionally, but I guess this is not what you observe. Maybe you could try with a TDF build instead of your own?
