I tested pdf export "basic" and in PDF/A-1a. Exporting in PDF/A-1a is significantly longer than exporting in basic PDF but it doesn't crash on my PC. On the other hand RAM consumption by LO jumps from 150 MB up to 850 MB when exporting in PDF/A-1a. When exporting in basic PDF the change in the RAM consumption by LO is not visible in the System monitor (export too fast). Best regards.
