Bug ID: 97694
Summary: Base macros cannot be digitally signed
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.7.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Issue: according to LibreOffice's help, it is possible to sign a macro
(https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Applying_Digital_Signatures). However, in
Base, if you go to "Tools" > "Macros" > "Organise Macros" > (select the macro
you want to edit/sign) > "Edit" and then select "File" > "Digital Signatures",
the window to sign the macro won't come up. On the other hand, these steps in
Writer would work to sign a macro. To make things more interesting, if you have
Base and Writer open at the same time, then the macro editor will show macros
of both Base and Writer but "File" > "Digital Signatures" won't open the
window.
I have tested this in LO 4.4.7.2 (Windows 10 and Fedora 22), 5.0.3.2 (Windows
10), 5.0.4.2 (Windows 10 and Fedora 23) and 5.0.5.1 rc (Windows 10). I have
also tried Windows XP but I cannot remember which version of LO.
I suppose that the expected behaviour is that the window "Digital Signatures"
would come up when "File" > "Digital Signatures" while editing a macro in Base.
