but didn't receive any replies. I'm pasting the problem description here:
I've a fresh installation of Linux Mint 17.3 MATE edition, and along with it
came libreoffice (1:5.0.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~trusty2). My entire login screen crashes
if I open Calc. Other programs like Writer appear to start up at least, but
Calc brings down the entire login session. A suggested workaround that I found
on the Internet was to use SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk localc, but that didn't help
either. I'm not sure if and where I can pick any logs of the crash, but if
somebody can point me to that, I'm happy to share that.
