--- Comment #9 from David García <vivada...@hotmail.com> --- Hello, Raal, Sorry for taking so long to upload the document, but it’s been time-consuming to replace the letters, as the number of replacements amounted to several hundred thousand in some cases and, as a result, LO would often get stuck, having to start again. The original LO document, the one before the replacements, was converted from a DOC file using LO 4.4.4.3. Now, I’ve edited the document on LO 5.0.4.2 and I’ve noticed that both word count and page count are carried out before the document is open. Therefore, LO 5.4.0.2 has fixed my problems: 1. Word count doesn’t freeze any more. 2. The number of words is now approximately correct (2 941 795 words of the LO document vs 2 939 184 words of the Word 2013 document). I say approximately because I don’t know which number is wrong. 3. The new document is open faster: it takes less than 1 minute (as opposed to more than 5 minutes) to open the file and display the word and page count. Should I set this thread as “resolved” or the administrator does? Thanks, David -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
