screenshot of semi-transparent color picker
I installed LibO 5.1.0 RPMs including the KDE integration after reading it
should finally support KDE4.
However, when opening one of the drop-down pickers, e.g. the color picker in
Writer (same with Draw and the other components), it would appear
semi-transparent (looks like the picker does not fade in completely; see
attached screenshot). After a little bit of hovering with the mouse, at least
the color boxes in the color picker became solid, but the rest of the picker
remained see-thru.
In tried different combinations of switching hardware acceleration and openGL
on and off in the settings dialog, but didn't notice any difference.
After removing the KDE integration (by uninstalling
"libobasis5.1-kde-integration"), the pickers opened in separate windows with
partial decoration (e.g. no close button) but at least the content was
displayed correctly. However, the LibreOffice icons in the task bar and the
button opening the window menu were replaced with default X icons (pretty much
as described in Bug 96519).
Environment:
LibO 5.1.0.3, openSUSE 13.1 x86_64, Kernel 4.4.1 ("Kernel stable" repository),
KDE 4.14.10 ("KDE Current" repository), AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4350 with stock
"radeon" driver
