File to reproduce in LibreOffice by sort descending on Column1
Opening an Excel file with a table, with filter/sort headings, and several
hidden rows. When sorting by a column of this table, the hidden rows are not
ignored during the sort, which means hidden entries are actually moved out of
the hidden rows and into visible rows, and visible entries are moved out of
visible rows into hidden rows.
In Excel it ignored hidden rows so you can hide values you don't care about and
still sort, and the sort only applies across the visible rows. In LibreOffice
this is impossible to do, during sorting you begin to see entries disappear and
other entries you'd previously hidden appear again.
Attached Excel file reproduced the problem in LibreOffice 5.2.2 on Mac OS X El
Capitan (Public Beta 2, 10.11.4). The file is pre-sorted in Excel as sort
descending on Column1. Opening in LibreOffice it shows fine, but if you
re-apply the sort descending on Column1 you can immediately see the problem -
row 8 now shows a previously hidden row.
