Bug ID: 97979
Summary: Difficulty in saving a file to a connected external
memory device
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Up until a few weeks ago when I clicked on 'Save As' when trying to save a file
(a spreadsheet) in Calc, this action produced a list of the available drives on
my PC and I was able to choose the appropriate one in order to save my file on
a connected external memory device. Since then when I click on 'Save As' this
action produces a list of files, all with their full file names, and I can't
see how to access the relevant drive. I find this list of files too detailed
which makes it difficult to find the one I want to replace with the new file to
be saved. Because of the wealth of detail shown, it is too easy to choose the
wrong file.
Has Calc been upgraded, unnecessarily in my opinion, as the previous 'version'
worked satisfactorily? Or have I inadvertently altered a setting somewhere in
Calc which has caused this change? Is it possible to return to seeing the list
of available drives when 'Save As' is clicked?
