Starting with version 5.1.0.3, the Slides Pane interferes with the Math
Elements Pane. Graphical artifacts from the Slides Pane often obscure/hide the
Elements Pane and the Math editing pane at the bottom of the window.
This behavior does not exist in version 5.0.5 or earlier.
