On Windows you needed just do this steps:
1. Right click on desktop or other appropriate place.
2. Select "Create"->"Microsoft Word document".
Resulting document may be different in dependency of LibreOffice version.
3. Open file in LibreOffice, edit and save it.
4. If you try to open resulting file in MS Word, you get unexpected result.
Result is different in dependency of LibreOffice version. When resulting file
have .docx format, MS Word can't open it. When resulting file have .doc format,
it may be cutted or misformatted or both.
The .docx can be opened with WPS Office or OpenOffice but misformated.
When you do "Save as..." or "Save copy..." - file will opened as expected.
