Bug #: 49997
Summary: EDITING: Paste menu options not available in Calc when
pasting to multiple rows
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.3 release
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
If you copy cells on a single row, but then want to paste them into multiple
rows, the menu options for pasting both in the edit menu and in the context
menu disappear unless either a single cell is selected or a range equal in
width to the copied are is selected. The menu options should be available if a
single column of cells is selected. Note that the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+V)
still works in this scenario.
E.g. create a new sheet
Put data in cells A1,B1,C1,D1,E1
Highlight and copy this data
Select cells A3:A6
There are no menu options for pasting (although Ctrl+V works)
The menu options are available if only one cell is selected, or if the area
A3:E6 is selected.
Note that this is also true when copying a column of data to be pasted into
multiple columns.
