After installing LibreOffice 5 on Arch Linux, I am able to start Writer. But
when I click on any menu, it hangs (the menu never opens).
Then when I ultimately kill LibreOffice and try to restart it, I get a "Restore
missing document?" popup-dialog which I cancel and then I get nothing.
No splash, nothing.
After that, it doesn't matter which (LibreOffice) program I try to start, I do
not get a splash screen and I can't start the application.
Looking at the list of started processes, I see a lot of "oosplash"-processes
that I can kill. But I never see the splash screen again.

If you want some more info, let me know how to provide it. I'm not 100% sure
what is the best way to report relevant system info.
